Could someone tell me if this makes sense?

Could someone who understands Relativity pretty well read this link and tell me if this makes sense? I've read a ton of information on the subject, and it all seems to stop short of explaining why relativity works. From everything I understand about it, this is the best explanation for why relativity works I can come up with.

The author of this article proceeds from many false assumptions, including trying to explain things based on day to day reality, vs. the reality of quantum mechanics which has been used to factually describe things to great degrees of accuracy. Relativity has many experiments which have proven it's correct, including time slowing down and a mass gaining mass the faster it speeds along.

In terms of making time stop for an object, he suggests you have to move it to the speed of light, but to do this, you must have a mass of nothing (like a photon) which he does not consider.

I'll have to read through it again though.
