We have seven wedding reception themes, what could we do for each?

So, my fiance and I have picked out seven wedding reception themes that we like, but we can't decide. So could you tell us what each theme could be so my fiance and I could see if we could pull it off? Thanks. The themes are:

Herbal Elegance

Black, White and Pink

A Purple Party

Red Hot (the color red)

House Party (in your house)

Orange Crush (the color orange)

Sunny and Chic (the color yellow).

Please help us decide! Thanks!

Color schemes are easier to pull off than a specific overall theme. Such as your Herbal Elegance or House Party, which could leave you looking for certain items to fulfill the look & could be more costly, where as any color scheme will lead you to finding less expensive alternatives and give you the opportunity to go to lot's of stores to find items.

Example; Black, White & Pink; when you send your invitations out, under attire have your guests wear only these colors. Use Black linens, white plate ware, and pink flowers.

Purple Party- Go all out with purple, it's an easy color for flowers & linens, & it would be fun to use purple lighting around the bar & dance flloor area to pull together this look.

Red Hot- Another great sceme, but it can come off looking too sexy or goth depending on what's it's paired with. If you are using it to dress your bridesmaids & accent the groomsmen use it as an accent in the room, with flowers & maybe red napkins with red ties around the chairs.

Oranges & Yellows really pop so like red use them as an accent. Put these colors on your cake, in your flowers, in the outfits of the wedding party, balloons, keep the rest in white, and the color scheme will really shine.

I once went to a hot pink & green theme wedding...... the linens were white with pink toppers, the flowers were these simple arrangements with like a limey greeninsh effect, it was cool, by the signing table, bar and some other spots were pink candles with that green ribbon tied around the candle.

ooh those are all pretty neat

I personally like the 'red hot' theme because red is the color of love. It also represents passion and devotion. Because of the meanings it stands for, red is a terrific color to use for weddings!

You could do 'Cinnamon hearts for the wedding favours. they are red and hot- hehe..

here are some sites that have red theme wedding supplies (like the ring bearer pillow...)

Flowers are one of the easiest and most dramatic ways to showcase your red wedding theme or red colour scheme and there are a wide range of red flowers available from which you can choose. Some popular wedding flowers available in red that you may want to consider are...

    Asters

    Campanulas

    Carnations

    Dahlias

    Freesia

    Gerberas

    Gladioli

    Hyacinths

    Hydrangeas

    Lilies

    Peonies

    Phlox

    Roses

    Sweet Peas

    Tulips

Food: Stuffed red peppers, tomato soup and strawberries and cream are all viable food choices (but be careful in a white wedding dress!!)

Welcome Drinks: Consider serving summer fruit punch, a Bloody Mary or red wine on arrival.

Sunny and Chic :) Just because yellow is such a happy, joyful color, which will reflect great on the wedding day!

I like the first three. Purple party is obviously everything purple, Black white and pink again refers to colors, and Herbal elegance flowers everywhere!
