Help! 11 year old girl?

My friends 11 year old daughter has been having some chronic symptoms and the doctors have been no help! She's suffering from weight loss and poor appetite, pale skin, sever headaches that are coming more and more frequently, shortness of breath, chest pain and heaviness, constant low grade fever, jaw pain, dizziness, nausea and vomitting, vision blurriness, severe leg pain and cramping, extreme fatigue, and she is always cold yet sweats profusely, especially at night. PLEASE HELP! She's been to the doctor multiple times. Her vision has been checked. Now they want to do an MRI of her brain and my friend is beside herself with worry. If there are any doctors that check this or anyone that has had similar symptoms and may have ideas for a diagnosis, we would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks.

could be weird migrane headaches. When I was about this age I began to get really bad migranes with all the symptoms you are describing along with them, about once a month around the same day. Don't know why it happened but it ended up being the same days as my periods would start, later on a couple years down the road. My mom and I went to the doc and they have several things you can take for migranes, they are different for each person but something may work.

If it makes you feel any better, this goes away after a bit :) it's sure crappy dealing with it. Hope this helps!!!!! :P

Hi! i dont really want to answer this because i am not a doctor, i can only go my own experiances with my own 11 year old daughter, she had been having the same symptoms as the girl you are talking about, but our doctor is really good so i will tell you what they are doing for my child, ok the leg cramping is very normal for this age children have growth spurts which can be quite painful, what the dr. asumes is that my daughter has mono which is a very common childhood sickness that can make kids very sick and they are more proan to it at this age. The docor just took some blood work from my chid yeaterday to test for mono, diabetes, and anemia- which are the most common sicknesses that t, will cause those symptoms in kids. i dont know the results yet, i can also tell you my daughter recently started her period which has se nt these symptoms soaring. the best advice i can tell you friend is too demand the doctor look into it and find out whats going on she is the parent period! and she has every right to be forceful with the doctor this is her job as a mother, next time she gets dizzy or has chest pains dont go to the doctor go to the ER or call an ambulance they will have to treat her then & it doesnt hurt that it will be a different doctor looking at her. these are serious symptoms and this woman needs to put her foot dow that is the answer enough is enough! please emal me and keep me informed of her condtion if you dont mind i really hope she will be ok. also please dont think am being to hard on our friiend i used to be very passive at the doctors too but after having 4 children i know you have to put your foot down and not worry about the doctors feelings her daughter needs to come first and they have to treat her, there is something going on here that isnt right and i dont think your friend is being as forthcoming with her doctor as she is with you about her daugters symptoms- she needs to make it clear to him she wants her child tested.
