WHY does Obama think money grows on trees?

Can someone explain to me exactly how a BANKRUPT government can pay for all of these socialist programs? Because frankly I think it's impossible.

A few years ago it was QUITE APPARENT that THERE WASNT ENOUGH MONEY TO GO AROUND IN THE BUDGET, Obama gets elected and immediately starts proposing several billion dollar programs and bailouts with reckless abandon. Obama is like a 7-year old kid with a credit card in a Toy's'rus.

Money is paper, paper comes from trees, if you want more money you just print more of it, and for that you need trees. Pretty simple logic. For a 7 year old. Credit cards eventually get maxed out and don't work anymore. There doesn't seem to be anything that will stop Obama. Maybe when other countries refuse us credit, effectively bankrupting us, he'll learn that cutting down the trees to make more and more money is a bad policy.

Its Keynesian economic theory. and in this case its being used as a last ditch effort to save a bubble ridden boom bust economy.. Years ago America became great from importing raw materials from all corners of the globe and converting them into useful products that people purchased .. thus creating wealth ... This is how it should be done in a healthy marketplace.. But Wall street and the corporate raiders of the 80's created a new get rich quick scheme by overvaluing certain industries and commodities and then selling off at an inflated price. Good stuartship and responsible labor/ management relations went out the window.. and the more me now generation was more than happy to ride the bubbles wall street created.... If America is the be great again.. we need to restore our industries and stop recirculating the old inflated cash from our now service oriented economy.. Keynesian economics does not work in a open global economy with record trade deficits.. its doomed to failure.

You know what's funny? Democraps criticized Bush for spending too much money, but now Obama is 10 times more worse! You know..like the stimulus package, healthcare ****, and etc. Another thing Democrats did was blamed Bush for the economy because of the war! PFFFT!! Really? The war caused it? How come all of the wars we fought in the past helped the economy? What Democraps need to understand is that BILL CLINTON CAUSED THIS MESSY ECONOMY NOT BUSH.

  • Our government sucks, pandering always to special interests and those lobbyists. If there isn't money to go around, they'll print more money...so there's your "money grows on trees" analogy.

Inflation's ugly head is just gearing up and about to knock on our doors...when in some sectors of our economy, deflation is actually what is happening right now. Of course the Feds are just about tweaking the economy to prevent that...and trust me (I know it's bad to say "Trust Me" in this country) they will over-correct, and the result? INFLATION.

It's just around the corner. and the value of our money is going down, down, down...

Both parties are to blame. Sadly, Fiscal Responsibility isn't a strong enough word and trait in our government.

Did someone ask about a person who thinks money grows on trees??

Based on Bush's actions and economic conditions, CBO projected $1.2 trillion deficit on January 7

$1.2 trillion projection based on legislation Bush passed before Obama's inauguration. From CBO's January 2009 budget report, released on January 7:

Because he was brought up on affirmative action. Everything is given to 'the deserving', and noone cares where it comes from. He has no concept of 'earning' and 'staying in a budget'.

And for those who complain about Bush, just remember - bush spent money to PROTECT this country. Obama is spending money to break it down so he can remake it in his own image. And, in case your head has been in the sand the last year or so, Obama has spent more than every single president COMBINED, which INCLUDES Bush's lavish spending. It's like me saying "Hey, stop rubbing crap in my face" and you reply "well, YOU farted!". It's just not comparable.

I would say he is stupid, but the stupid ones, are the ones allowing him to do it-----YOU and ME --- Obama is laughing everyday, saying that Political Correctness really works , I can do anything and get away with it, I could never destroy America by force, but those two little words will allow me to bring America to it's knees, just like Reagan did to Russia in the 80's--is it pay back time, could Rex, Wright be correct, that the chickens have come home to roost . lead by Obama and his liberal hordes********************************

Better question. Why did bush think he could spend all the money on a war that fed off nationalism, thus bankrupting the nation? Let me get this straight though.

If the weren't socialist you would approve him yes? You can say no, but in you're heart you know you are a hypocrite.

    Source(s): Bush's accomplished mission.

It's amusing to see how many Bush conservatives *forgot* about the trillions Bush wasted trying to conquer Planet Earth.
