    Since you have the common denominator of t - 3, you can rewrite as:

    (t^2 - 3t) / (t - 3). Now factor out a t from the numerator.

    t(t - 3) / (t - 3). The t-3 in the numerator and denominator cancel out to give you t. Answer

    You can write t^2/t-3 + -3t/t-3 like the following :

    t^2-3t/t-3

    factorize by t the nominator and you get :

    t*(t-3)/(t-3) = t*1 = t
