6/5 x + 9/2 x. Convert both fractions to common denominator of 10 and then add.

    12/10 x + 45/10 x = 57/10 x. Answer

you have to write them on the same denominator :

multiply 6/5x by 2 (nominator and denominator)

multiply 9/2x by 5 (nominator and denominator)

    you get :

    12/10x + 45/10x = 12+45/10x = 57/10x

    6/(5x) + 9/(2x)

    = (6 * 2)/(5x * 2) + (9 * 5)/(2x * 5)

    = 12/(10x) + 45/(10x)

    = 57/(10x)
