Why does Fox News Lie and call it an 'error'?

Fox sued to be able to lie. They won.

The truth is now negligible on all newscasts.

They have been doing that for years. It is just that they are getting caught. Haven't you noticed that everything a democrat says or does is wrong, bad or even illegal while the republicants can do no wrong?

As far as calling it an error, if a suit entails, they would have to pay significantly more in damages if it is proven to be intentional and it might even be considered criminal, slanderous at the least. z

What - are you suprised? FOX FAKE "News" has lied for the past 20+ years. They're one of the reasons we're fighting stupid, needless wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. "Conservative" lies are used to feed money to the people who build the weapons - so these people beat the drum of war - all for nothing.

the people who own FOX FAKE "News" need to spend some time in Federal Prison - Murdock needs to be deported - and FOX needs to be seized and sold at auction. Why should OUR AIRWAVES be used to pump out "conservative" lies, hate and racism???

If people really are showing up in large numbers for her book signings, then it isn't a lie. But the use of footage that has nothing to do with the report is IMO unethical. But not a lie

The same reason MSNBC lies and calls it a fact. The same reason Obama's administration doles out money to districts that don't exist and down play it by calling it a clerical error. The same reason Obama's lie count is not over 120 and the media does not hold him accountable.

If they admit that they lied, it detracts from their "fair and balanced" BS mantra.

Are you saying Fox is perfect? If they can't have errors they must be perfect. All stations have errors. None are perfect.
