I would like to hear from any of you who were raised in Foster Care?
I am trying to help a child who is not 15 an has been in foster care since the age of 4 years, and would love to hear insight from those of you who experienced a childhood in foster care.

I was in and out of foster care from the time I was 7 until I was 16 when I won my emancipation. I was in 4 separate foster homes I was separated from my siblings in three of them, there were 6 of us and not all foster families could accommodate us all. I say six of us because the youngest was in foster care only a brief time and I didn't even know she existed until I was emancipated.

I went into foster care @ 9 and aged out. I'm 38 now and I speak with others who need advice.
