I am a senior citizen, retired for 5 years and for a hobby I garden. Also have years of experience training German Shepherd dogs. Five years ago I moved from a large city to a retirement area on the lake, have 7 acres of property, a large garden, a green house and a young orchard that is beginning to produce. 2 AnswersCats9 years agoHow to prune an overgrown fig tree?
I have a very large fig tree, some branches are at least 20 feet tall, naturally I could not gather the fruit from that height and would like to know the proper way to prune this tree. The spread is approximately 15 feet so I got lots of figs from the low growing branches but none from the top.
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape1 decade agoWarranty on Cook ware?
In November of 1978 I purchased an extremely expensive set of cook ware that came with a lifetime warranty. I have used this cook ware all these years, took great care of it never burned anything in any of the pots. Recently I noticed that the seams around the bottom edges are beginning to come loose. I still have my receipts and the warranty, but the company will not honor their guarantee.
Any suggestions on what I should do, and do you think I am unreasonable to expect them to honor their warranty?
