Does duct tape remove warts?

I've heard it does but how long does the duct tape have to be on? Also the wart is on the top of my hand and it's been there for about a year. I've decided to try duct tape first because I heard it works and hurts a lot less than something like Compound W which stings a lot.

Believe it or not, it really does work. Sounds like the craziest thing I've ever heard, but it's true. Read here:

for the whole article. The excerpt below explains the treatment.

"The other group applied small pieces of duct tape to each wart. They were instructed to leave the tape in place for six days and were taught how to re-apply tape if it fell off. At the end of the sixth day, the patients removed the duct tape, soaked the wart in water, and gently debrided it with an emery board or pumice stone. The tape was left off overnight, then re-applied for another six days. This pattern was repeated for two months or until the wart resolved."

Unfortunately it will rip them off, but being that they are caused by a virus, the only way to truly kill them is to get rid of the virus. Freezing by a dermatologist is the best way.
