Did I have a miscarriage?

Ok so about 4 days ago I had a Paragard IUD (on the 24th) put in and I was getting the usual cramps but they weren't that bad, then the next day they were almost completely gone. I had had sex for the first time before getting it in, the day before and three days before, I used condoms, but of course nothing is 100%. The same day I got the IUD in I also took a Plan B pill. Well yesterday I was getting extremely hellish cramps, out of nowhere, and it seemed like no amount of pain killer would stop it. I started bleeding profusely, almost like my period had come early, but it wasn't as heavy of a flow. It's still kind of going today, but the bleeding is only spotting and my cramps are gone so...I don't know. I'm worried that this was possibly a miscarriage, but it seemed like too early to be an actual miscarriage, I mean, the first time I had sex was about a week ago. Were these just usual side effects of the IUD? Or maybe something gastrointestinal? (I did eat an awful lot on Thanksgiving)

Thanks!

if you had sex a week ago then it is not a miscarriage i had a miscarraige when i was 16.... it is very painful and i started spotting and spotting and kept spotting and then a lot of thick blood cloats would come out... its just your body is not use to the IUD and some people have different symtoms than others.

dont stress just call your doctor on monday or if your really concerned go up to the ER. but to me sound like your body getting use to it

I had a miscarriage, after which a child no longer lengthy after, then a different miscarriage. Considering I was once instructed I'd in no way get pregnant, I viewed that one a blessing. Two years later I pass pregnant once more, and we had fun and notion we would in no way get pregnant once more. Then #three was once born 18 months after #two...WOW! Then #four was once 15 months after #three, then 18 months later #five....we began considering it was once a few style of cosmic comic story! #6 was once born 2 years after #five, and quantity seven (we name her seven of 7) was once born 2 years after #6. My SIL additionally confronted a few miscarriages, 4 or 5 I feel, she stopped telling us after a even as. She obtained pregnant approximately ten years in the past despite the fact that, after which popped out FIVE in ten years. So we are each relatively joyful with our little advantages. I'm sorry to your loss, I do not know what else to let you know besides to maintain your hopes up. I in no way notion I'd be so blessed, and I do not forget the ones days of dread, each and every month of praying. We have been whole nuts for the period of our pregnancies, exceptionally because all of our miscarriages have been after 12 weeks...a ways into the trimester of 'safeguard'.

It sounds like it's just side effects of the IUD placement. Cramping and bleeding is normal. If the cramps are too bad, ask your Dr. for some pain meds. Prescription Motrin really helped with mine.
