Probably nothing, they've done it a lot all over the world. Considering they've shown they can act respectfully at such events they should be invited in the future.

Since there was apparently no real harm or intent to cause harm there will most likely be little to deal with as far as punishment goes. The big question remains, how were they able to pull it off? There was a serious security lapse and one that could have been disastrous for the country. This kind of thing is simply unacceptable when the safety of this or any president is at stake. The white house has stated that the president was never in danger because of the weapon screening, metal detectors but there are many other ways to inflict harm and those responsible for the lapse had better come up with some answers. I have personal experience when it comes to white house security although it has been many years I can't think that this would ever have been allowed to be swept under the rug. There will be and should be consequences!

Last I heard, investigators had not announced a conclusion as to what actually happened, ergo it is too early to announce any criminal charges.
It sounds like much ado about nothing as the couple was screened for weapons by security at the gate. Once they were identified, they weren't even immediately arrested because the trained agents at the scene did not think they posed any credible threat to anyone.
I hope they are charged with at least trespassing though. These self-promoting attention wh*res are getting out of hand.

Nothing will happen because they appeared to be just two white people attending a party. Had they looked otherwise, S.W.A.T. would have rained down upon them, swooped them up, and probably beat them, and threw them in prison that same night. Without bail. I think it's outrageous! They shook the President's hand and everything. That was TOO close for comfort with all these psycho GOPers out here with military guns who wish to kill him!

Tresspassing on the White House lawn at a function attended by the President of the United States? I hope they get locked up for a long time.

They may be charged with trespassing, or not, depending on the circumstances.
I think it is embarassing for the Secret Service, but as long as they were properly screened for weapons, it does not pose a threat.

Well, they could be prosecuted for trespassing, among other things, and they might be. On the other hand, they could very well become short term celebrities and they should take full advantage of it while it lasts.

i don't know what will happen to them but, looking at it from all angles, it seems that they did a service by awakening a lot of people regarding security
