JUST GOT PREGNANT, HCG LEVEL WENT FROM THE 14,000'S TO 16,000'S IN TWO DAYS, AM I GOING TO MISCARRY?
MY PERIOD IS 2 WEEKS LATE SO IM GUESSING I AM 6 WEEKS PREGNANT. I HAVE TO WAIT TO GET MY LEVELS CHECKED AGAIN MY MY DOCTOR SAYS IT DOESNT LOOK GOOD. COULD IT BE POSSIBLE THAT MY HCG LEVELS ARE JUST GOING TO RISE SLOW? I HAVE ALSO BEEN SPOTTING BROWN BUT I HAVE SPOTTED WITH MY OTHER TWO PREGNANCIES AS WELL. IM JUST LOOKING FOR A GLIMMER OF HOPE I GUESS UNTIL I GET MY BLOOD WORK DONE TOMORROW. I READ THAT AFTER THE 5 WEEK IT CAN TAKE BETWEEN 48-72 HOURS FOR THE LEVELS TO DOUBLE...COULD I STILL CARRY TO TERM?

I have heard that HCG levels double but also its not the case, you cant just think you are going to miscarry because they arnt moving as fast as you want them or your doctor wants them to. Brown blood is old blood thats still in your system. The only time you need to worry about miscarrying is when the blood is bright red and its like a period. Keep your head up and be optimisitic i know its hard but the more you stress the more you are putting you and your fetus in danger.

Your levels are still in normal range. Mine went from 11 to 60 (three days later) to 35 (8 days later) to 4 (two days later). My OB didn't think there was anything wrong when my levels were only 60. She said 'you must be only 5 weeks for it to be that low'. Then, I miscarried at what we thought was 7 weeks. I will never listen to that OB again.
I think you will be ok. Some women have low levels in their pregnancy and still have a normal healthy baby. Good Luck.
