Suggestions for a pre-schoolers lunch?

Keeping in mind that you can not bring any lunch to school that has to be heated. Any suggestions for my pre-schooler?

Thanks in advance :)

Sandwiches if he likes them, are always good. Veggies and dip. Fruit with yogurt dip. Crackers and cheese with meat. Stuffed pita pockets - stuff with julienned veggies and ranch, or cream cheese and fruit. Cold pasta salad if your little one likes pasta.

Or as the other poster suggested, you can buy thermoses - just try it out before you send it with him and make sure it keeps the food warm enough long enough. Some don't and you don't want your poor little one drinking cold coup or eating cold noodles!

As a caterer I in lots of situations face the comparable form of demands which you do. attempting to maintain each little thing prepared is puzzling at superb. Make a weekly record that has room for each little thing that has to ensue that day. use numerous the different strategies for laying issues out the night in the previous. awaken a tad early and verify your each and daily record. Get a coffee maker with a timer. decelerate and do fewer greater effective events. much less in specific circumstances is greater. putting out on your pagamas gazing caroons or movies or cooking pancakes/waffles is kinfolk time. If church is significant to you you could pray at residing house. You and your husband are the individuals that relatively comprehend what's significant to you kinfolk and in specific circumstances down time is the very superb time.

Cheese, crackers, applesauce and a milk or juice-box.

Fruit, pretzles or gold-fish, turkey cuts, and a milk or juice-box.

    You could also pack yogurt.

I actually purchased a spider-man thermos for my preschooler from Target. It holds 10 oz. of warm food, and keeps it warm for 5 hours. We put spaghetti in it, or even chicken nuggets.

    Good luck!
