Medical marijuana (opinion)?
For it, against it, your personal opinion on it. Does it really help with medical ailments? Should it be legalized all throughout the United States?

I believe it should be legalized for medical purposes. Really all together. I can't think of 1 way that marijuana is worse than alcohol. I don't know how it helps w/ other than personality disorders. but patients who suffer from schizophrenia or bipolar disorder seem to benefit from smoking a little weed. It helps calm them and stabilize their mood. I don't smoke it, but I don't see whats so bad either

1. A, no it should not be legal for possession. 2. E. I do not see how inhaling smoke into your body along with countless other things can be beneficial to your health but consuming it in another form such as tea could possibly be beneficial to your health. 3. C. Doesn't really matter, at this point most kids have their mind made up on their feeling about marijuana. 4. It doesn't solve anything and despite what everyone has to say it is a gateway drug, you built up a tolerance and move on to something stronger, all it will do is cause problems. On top of that we'll have to deal with people driving under the influence of marijuana. This isn't going to solve any problems. On top of this it has recently been proven to increase the chances of testicular cancer in males.

For it all the way. Marijuana has helped me with many of my ailments, albeit minor. I don't get migraines anymore, my eczema flairs have stopped, and my asthma is under control now.
But I don't see what everyone's problem is. So what if people use it recreationally? It's their prerogative and it's 100% safe if used with a vaporizor. Besides, there's budding research that marijuana, itself, helps slow down tumor growth, so smoking it isn't bad. If y'all are truly worried about cancer, then ban cigarettes with all those chemicals in it.

Chemotherapy for cancer, AIDS drugs etc.cause nausea and decrease in appetite. Weed has been clinically proven to decrease nausea and give people the munchies. The problem with Marinol (weed in pill form) is that it takes a while to work. Smoking weed is pretty much immediate and it's pretty easy to figure out dosing. I had a friend on chemo for cancer. He was wasting away to nothing. His mom (of all people) got him some weed and it really helped him through the worst of the chemo. Are people going to abuse it? Sure, but people abuse pharmaceuticals, so that isn't anything new. I'm obviously for it.

Legalized? No, that will bring taxes.
Anyone who has half a mind to turn away from the media an see what marijuana really does will realize it isn't that bad, much safer than cigarettes actually.

for STRICT medical purposes.
Cancer patients for the most (gotta love dem munchies!) .
I'm not so good with what marijuana can do for medical purposes, but It needs to be used in a doctor office, or hospital.

I believe that there are other ways to cure illness than drugs. I think people will take advantage of the fact that it's medical use only.

It may be thought of as being better than ciggerettes but you are more likely to get throat and mouth cancer with it. My cousin died from it.
