Please advise...I can't stop playing video games!?

I'm a sophomore in college, and it's pretty sad. I just never got used to the whole "college" thing where you actually have to study for classes. I breezed through high school with a 3.9 gpa by studying for tests basically 1 hour before we had to take them. Now I'm doing bad in college, but I can't force myself to study!

I'm a computer science major, and I know quite a lot about computers. When I'm not playing video games, I'm on newegg.com looking at the latest graphics cards/processors :P. But I waste so much time playing computer games, and as I think about it when I'm in bed, I hate myself so much for it. People say playing sports and board games can help, but sure, I go play tennis and soccer for 2 hours, and then I go right back onto video games when I come back!

I was so frustrated once, that I code a virus on my own computer that automatically terminates any games when they run. But a day later, I promptly cracked and erased my own virus. Yes I know - it's so pathetic.

If I don't play computer games, I feel so bored with life and depressed. But when I do play video games, I do bad in my classes and hate myself for it! Is there anything that can help me??? (And no, I can't go get a girlfriend because I have no life and horrible social skills. And...no, I can't go play a musical instrument because I already play piano and I can only do that for about 30 min)

Well, I personally have two suggestions, one is realistic and the other takes very drastic measures.

Method One: Try and make a rewards system for yourself, Such as, if you study for half an hour, you can let yourself play Video games for half and hour.

Method Two: Get a journalism major and once your out of collage move to California and get a job at Nintendo power.

You just have to make sure while you're not playing video games, add some different fun to your life, try to hang out with friends or make your studying fun, make some flash cards. Just keep your mind off of video games, and when you feel yourself getting drawn to some, remind yourself of your bad grades.

P.S. Try masturbating, it might help you deal with the stress and withdrawal from video games. Not even joking.
