Throw your best diagnosis at me please.?
I often vividly imagining myself seriously injuring people I am around, and most of the time they don't even deserve it. I haven't, and won't act on these thoughts, but I was wondering what could cause it.
Generally if the people I am with are morons, I tend to let my imagination run wild...

I once heard a psychologist talk about inappropriate thoughts like the ones you are experiencing. In short, it is a side effect of anxiety. Your mind is caught in a fight or flight state and so the hormones released causes it to go straight to "worst case scenario". Many people are scared from their inappropriate thoughts but know they would never carry out their imagined actions, yet they still want the thoughts to stop so they can go back to normal. Reading about the subject and/or getting therapy will work okay for you. your problem is more common than you may know.

I would say that your normal. You say that most of the time they dont deserve it. Which means that some of the time they do deserve it. So there is some pent up anger in there. When there is pent up anger, there usually is depression as well. Or maybe its a form of social phobia that u channel through your vividly imagining yourself injuring them. Or your just channeling the collective anger through yourself. Maybe you need to be like that. Maybe you are preparing yourself for acting like that in the future. People in the army need to be able to think like that. They need to be able to be violent. Imagining yourself vividly injuring other human beings is a way of gettin ready for something that might take place in the future. It speaks volumes about your being able to be violent and i think you really believe in violence as a solution to problems. Maybe u need to be violent. Or u had to be violent in your past. I dont know if u still want to be like that or you want to change. If you do not want to be violent, or if there are better ways to solving your conflicts, then you should try to avoid those violent thoughts. But i really think, that you are doing it because your unconscious tells you that u need to be prepared for something that might happen in the future.

I would reccomend to myself:
not thinking they are morons. After all, I might have been worse if I lived in their shoes.
Cutting off games and movies that my Ideas resemble.
(self consious, adults should know when enough is enough)
Stop saying I'd never act on it. The fact I even think about it, means I would in an ideal situation.
Stop myself the moment I catch myself thinking it.
I had a simmilar problem with team fortess 2. (dreams)

Since you have the morality not to act on them, you wouldn't be a sociopath. I don't think this alone is too indicative of a disorder, but maybe you just have some violence in your subconscious that comes about when you get angry.

That happens to me, too, except they tend to be somewhat comical. These things are easy to picture since we see them in movies and video games (I do not blame the media), but just don't act on them. I don't think anything's wrong with you, but you should read some Poe stories.

My diagnosis perfectly normal, but a little anger. I recommend getting a hobby and some new friends.
