Why is it, the only people that seem to have a problem with Obama being black, are the pro Obama people?

I have to suspect that some pro Obama people voted for Obama because he was black. I think there was an expectation that electing Obama would shock and offend white racists. When it turned out that there were far fewer white racists than expected, and worse yet Obama wouldn't be getting a pass on everything he did just because he is black, a lot of Obama supporters kept bring up race hoping to get the reaction they had expected. In the end all they really did was overdraw the race card and support Obama for the wrong reasons.

If race is always an issue with his presidency, anyone who criticizes him enough can be tared by that brush and automatically have their opinions ignored, race is a powerful tool to a president like obama.

Reading some of the more intelligent answers on here gives me a bit of hope for us:)

It's a political ploy. A deliberate attempt to keep race in the dialogue. By repeating that it's not an issue they keep the topic alive & achieve the opposite of what they say, but exactly what they want.

I have about the same conclusion about them- hence why they call anyone who disagrees with them a racist. Even when the current topic has absolutely no mention of race in it.

it is one of their major tools in their battle to silence any opposition. our right of free speech is under attack. liberals are the most racist people ever. they little the little people and promise them so much while they deliver so little, they really don't want real change for them, they want to keep them dependent on themselves so they will trick them into voting liberal. look at the history, what exactly have liberals done to provide the jobs or education. liberals say they are for better education for them, yet deny them vouchers to choose better schools, all the while the liberals send their own kids to these very private schools they deny others. that is just one example of many on their hypocrisy.

Republicans have been non-racist for generations. Democrats finally started catching up with us in the 1960s. It will take them a few more generations to be free from it.

Obama hid behind Racism like it was his mamma's skirt .

I am caucasion,my wife is African...We are conservatives and would NEVER vote for Obama.We do not care what color he is,a socialist is a socialist.
