sibling problem! can anyone help me solve this?

If she's the older one than she has some SERIOUS growing up to do. She has no right telling you who to be and she doesn't even realize that she has someone that looks up to her. She has no right telling you what to wear, what to buy, what to do, how you do it, and so on. That's what parents are for. But, you have to remember something...even though you don't mean to 'copy' her, you need to try and find your own identity. Clearly she thinks you're trying to steal hers, and for the most part people just don't like that. I had the same problem with my older sister, and to this day she still thinks that of me. I basically just ignore her though. I can remember the numerous fistfights we would get into just because I bought a top that was similar to hers. I mean now that I think about it, it just seems so ridiculous that I have to laugh about it. I wasn't meant to copy her life, it's just that I liked her style and she HATED that. it sounds like your sister is the same way. She always thought I was doing it for attention when that wasn't the case.

I think it's part of human nature for siblings to want to copy and annoy each other. I mean I have two daughters and my eldest gets annoyed when her little sister tries to copy what she does. But my youngest is too little to understand that she needs to find her own identity and interests. I believe finding an identity starts at a young age. It turns out that my youngest has a role model which is her older sister. There's no telling how this sibling relationship may turn out. But as for you, I'd just say ignore your older sister's immature behavior, and continue to be you. I hope this helps.

In idea there's no cause for them to get disillusioned. However, probably the more youthful sibling rather appears as much as the older sibling and was once feeling very allow down that their older sibling could not aid them. Or probably they consider just like the older sibling did not WANT to aid them, which might lead them to consider allow down additionally. I'm simply seeking to seem at it from their viewpoint.

She's acting out because she feels you are superior to her and she feels threatened of being lost in your shadow.

Don't hate her, feel sorry for her.

When she acts up, tease her and treat her like an idiot LOL

Then don't pay her any attention and walk away.

Don't give her the satisfaction of seeing your spirits drop.

If she says a joke to make fun of and embarrass you

Treat her like a dope.

EX -

sis - your butt is so fat, you have to lift the toilet seat to take a dump.

you - hahaha....good one. Did you just make that up, or did you hear it on Letterman last night?

Then give her a pathetic look and walk away.

Don't give her the chance to say anything in retaliation and ignore her like she's a nobody.

If she says something wrong and tries to get in an argument with you about it -

Say -

Ya know....I hadn't thought of it like that. hahaha, you keep trying sunshine.

Turn and walk away.

If she wants to get in an argument and yelling match with you, don't give her the satisfaction.

Simply say, "Yea...whatever."

Continue doing what you were doing and don't pay any attention to her.

Whatever she does, always keep a happy face, give a chuckel and say "You're funny"

Play pranks always helps. Just laugh it off. Great minds think alike. You both probably like the same things. Sisters usually have that in common.

ur getting down because of what she says, she knows it gets to you so she carry's on doing, you feel you can't wear anything because of what she say's well that's not you, have you ever thought about telling your parents what's happening, look if i were you i would ignore her and if she carry's on say something to her show her you don't care what she thinks, for all you know she could be jealous because you look better in the outfit's.
