How to get to north korea through the river passage from china or south korea?
Anybody knows how to get there and where is it? I fund lots of informations about it on websites but nobody realy mention where it realy is and how to find it? They only say a lot about the illegal immigrants crossing the river to china or sounth korea but i am still not able to locate the place. Anybody can suport me with some informations?

I have read about North Koreans crossing the border with China. There is a river between these two countries and China keeps soldiers on the north side with Korea keeping soldiers on the south side. This area gets pretty remote in places and has to be patrolled because there is no roads or towns close to some areas. My fiances mother lives just north of the Korean border and it is a mountainous area that gets very cold in the winter. You would be able to walk across the river in about any place during the winter.

You mean legal pass? Then you'd better go to N.K. from the Chinese side, since passage between N.K. and S.K. is prohibited and the border is mined and guarded but armies of both sides. N.K. and S.K. have signed their cease-fire, but the 2 are still in civil war. However, the most difficult part is not the transport, since you can just take a train from China to go to N.K., but getting a Norh Korean visa is very hard.
