Why do so many people hate Korn?

Not a big Korn fan myself, but I think Korn is one of those bands people hate just to hate. I mean, they actually had some good early songs and I'll admit to liking a few songs off of Untitled(B*We Got a Problem, Evolution, I Will Protect You, Do What they Say). Like I said, not much of Korn fan,but they had/have some good songs. I just don't like the people that swear that Korn is a metal band, I see them more as just plain hard rock.

i can not discern it out myself. KoRn is ******* astonishing. Their first by myself album could close people's mouths. easily i think of it fairly is style of a bandwagon concern. One guy says "KoRn sucks and that they bought out" then each and every person else blindly concurs. KoRn could get carry of heavily extra appreciate then they do. And for those speaking **** on Jonathan Davis... oh hell no. particularly Jon's a pretentious asshole, Why? Backup your claims. EDIT Please if it wasn't for Jonathan they does no longer have careers. i'm no longer asserting they are actually not gifted because of the fact of direction they are yet particularly Jonathan is what caught people's interest and stored them listening. each and every of the adult males in the band have been like brothers then while Head grew to grow to be all non secular he stopped communique with them. Or if he did seek advice from the adult males he tried to transform them. (Interview with Munky and Jonathan) So i'm specific they have been basically a tiny bit mad that their sturdy chum of what 12 or 13 years only walked out. Ahhhh, love me some Korn. The first self titled album korn is by far the best, followed by Life Is Peachy...Actually they all ****** rock. My first tattoo is a KORN tattoo.

Korn was a band that I never got into, even back when I listened to similar stuff. I don't know why, they just didn't do it for me.

Are you serious? Korn is one of the pioneers of Nu-Metal, a sub genre of Metal that really gave Metal in general a bad name. Think of Nu-Metal as the anti-christ of Metal, if you know what true metal is. Nu-metal is akin to glam metal trying to become more popular than thrash metal, back in the day. It's just one of those sub genres that shouldn't even exist. Many people hate the fact that Korn can even call that Nu-metal garbage they do real music. In the end, however, it's a matter of personal opinion and taste. Some like Nu-metal, others like Death Metal. Some like Glam Metal (vomit), others like Thrash Metal. To each his own.

i like korn! and i never have a favourite song, only a list of masterpieces, by innumerable bands.

I haven't heard of them being hated on any more than any other band. I'm just not a fan of their image they try to put forward and their music. People have different tastes.
