when pronouncing led as in led screens do you say l.e.d or just led?

    L.E.D. since it is an abbreviation for " Light Emitting Diode". Each letter is pronounced seperately.

    It is usually all caps, like LED. I have rarely seen it written in any other way.

    I have studied Electronics at a college level for decades, and that is the way

    I have always seen it, unless an article that was written by someone that

    doesn't have an extensive electronic background, or was poorly edited.

    I pronounce it as led, rhymes with bed.
