How much longer until you think?

that Steve Yzerman comes out of retirement, laces up his skates, and brings the Stanley Cup to Hockeytown. With Zetterberg injured the Wings should try and get Yzerman to come out of retirement.

I guess for a real question, what's your favorite highlight of the 2009-10 season? Biggest hit? Favorite goal? Nicest save?

No BQ for you!

Ahhh if Yzerman could be in his prime that'd be wonderful. But with all the injuries, I'd have to say the Wings are managing a lot better than most would've expected.

My three favorite goals (all from the Central since those are the games I mainly watch)

-Datsyuk's diving shot to get it past Luongo

-Blues' David Perron goal against the Islanders where he went inbetween two defenders and beat the third defender..just sick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0EJbOFduFg&feature...

it's the number 1 highlight of course

-Towes against the Preds where he faked out the defender and drove it in as he was diving over the goalie's pad.

    My favorite save:

Kiprusoff against the sharks where he kicked the puck with the heel of his skate out of the way while on his stomach after already making a save.

All of these are on youtube from that link and other vids. These are the ones that I can recall that dropped my jaw

I'd like to say I am not worried but how much longer can this go on? I can't specifically remember what I had for breakfast (oh, yeah, a hot dog) so the only one of your highlight Q's I can answer is the goal one and that would be Drew Miller's goal last night. Wow. Jimmy made some great saves especially near the end of the game to preserve the shut out.

    No BQ? Sniff.

  • Not going to happen, He did some skating during the Olympic camp in August was it very brief as he still has a lot of pain from residual injuries suffered during his career. He would come out of retirement and end up on IR immediately.

Probably a month if I don't watch my swearing. It's the death of me. I've been suspended so much that it has made me a much less frequent user of Y!A. I was so mad last time, that I cut it out of my life completely for months. I figure its not worth it if I always have to keep remaking my account. 3 times. Last time was funny, I got suspended because I called Lil Wayne a homosexual. lol.

Yzerman is in the HOF. He isn't coming out of retirement.

Source(s): <- Wearing #19 this year in honour of Yzerman and Sakic but StevieY is retired and besides, a very busy man getting ready for the Olympics.
