Jail time is possible as well as a fine.
Welcome to the new America. Enjoy your Christmas gift - being forced to purchase crap from the government. It's only the beginning and in the end, even the sheeple will be crying.

Probably not but you may get sent to some kind of concentration camp. There will be too many people put in jail. Tell your grandparents that the bill allows insurance companies to charge people over 60, four times higher rate than other people.

This will work great for those that have no job, can't get regular insurance, and got denied by the govt. to have their 'insurance'. Remember, Obama himself has flat out said not everyone will be eligible for this.
So you pay a fine and get nothing in return. Remember to thank your Democratic or Liberal congressman for jamming you in the butt. Especially those of you that supported this, but then get denied their insurance, can't get regular insurance, and have no job. Because you should be 'punished' for being denied their healthcare and not having the money for 'regular' healthcare.
That's exactly what is happening.

Yes.
Maximum security for you.
And you will have to listen to ear-piercing reruns of all the Rush Limbaugh programs ever recorded until you buy health insurance.

No, it will work the same way auto insurance currently does, it will cost you a few hundred dollars more in fines if you DON'T buy insurance than the insurance would have cost you...if you don't pay the fines, THEN you will probably go to jail eventually (as you should) on a charge of "contempt of Court"...

You keep asking the same basic question.
In Truth> The reality of anyone going to jail over healthcare is slim to none.
America already is 67% against the thing they want to shove down our throats. Nothing new.

No, but you might end up in the poor house if you continue to let the insurance cos. have free reign. Unless, of course, you have so much money that you own stock in or are an executive of an insurance company.

No. That possibility was removed by specific language in the bill.
Ch 47 Sec. 5000A(g)(2)(A)
WAIVER OF CRIMINAL PENALTIES- In the case of any failure by a taxpayer to timely pay any penalty imposed by this section, such taxpayer shall not be subject to any criminal prosecution or penalty with respect to such failure.

You made my day, thanks.
I think there is a big possibility to go to jail if you'll refuse this wonderful offer.
