What to get my two year old for his birthday?

I'll suggest an educational toy that could recite the alphabets or sing 123. Just to keep your child engaged.My son was Diego crazy at 2. There are a few Diego toys that can say something at the push of a button. I hope this helps

My 2 year old has surprised me by how much she likes to play pretend. While every kid is different you might try getting some pretend kits. My daughter's favorite is her kitchen and play food and tea set (don't know how you feel about that for your son), she likes to play doctor with this medical set we found at Walgreens. You might try an auto mechanic pretend set, a tool set, and other play pretend items.

I didn't think my 2 yr old would like it, I thought it was too advanced for her at first, but I was totally wrong. She spends hours, literally hours, in her own world. (although I am always the patient when she plays doctor)
