Dublin to Bray by public transit?
I will be flying from America (Chicago, Illinois) to Dublin in April. Upon arrival, I would like to go to Bray. I found "Aircoach" online that runs 24 hours from the airport at 11 Euros, but I was wondering if there is a cheaper alternative. Does DART run directly from the airport? If not, would it make sense to take a cab to the nearest DART line and then take the DART there to Bray?

There is no cheaper direct service, but you can do it for about half the price if you get a bus into the city centre and getting another bus or a dart from there.
As you go out the airport exit to your left are a bunch of bus stops take either the 16a or the 746 to O'Connell street, €2.20 you'll need the exact change.
746 is every hour, 16a is every 25 minutes.

once you're at o'connell you can either walk down Talbot street to connelly station to get the dart, €2.70, 5-8 minute walk.
or take the 145 from O'Connell which will bring you to bray, €2.20. the 145 goes every 20 minutes.

there are maps of all the stops in those links, i'd pencil them in to your dublin map before you get here so you don't get lost

To be honest for the sake of saving € 2 it's hardly worth the hassle and much less so after a long flight. A taxi to the nearest Dart Station would cost at least €7 + the cost of the dart...
Even leaving aside the money, it would be a hell of a lot more comfortable getting on the coach at Dublin Airport and getting off in Bray, no hassle with bags etc.

as said above it would be a lot less hassle to use the aircoach and it will work out cheaper.
