What kind of Exhaust should I get?

I have a 98 Ford Mustang V6 3.8L.

Around $100.

And I want an exhaust that doesn't sound too ricey, not too damm loud that I can't hear anything in my car, and doesn't back fire for my Mustang..

Any ideas? Please add name and series.

You are not finding a Exhaust setup for that price. Mine on the Truck cost a bit over $300 after all was said and done.

I own a V6 Mustang 2004, and have not got a Duel Exhaust yet. I have no intentions on trying to make the vehicle look or sound like a V8 Mustang. If I want to race I use my Motorcycle :)

Every setup I have heard on V6 mustangs sound alright at idle, but just sound horrible when revved. You will find out that having a stock V6 makes you blend in, if you have a V6 Stang that sounds like a Flowmaser V6, you get laughed at by the V8 boys. ;)

Spend the money on a Cold Air Intake, at least that will give you some power and not get you that dang mocking eyebrow lift from the GT next to you in traffic.

Since this is an opinion question, here is mine. Keep her stock. IMO, trick exhausts sound cool on a V8, but dorky on anything less. There is nothing that says my Mustang isn't a GT like a Flowmaster on a V6.

If you want to sound cool, trade it in on a V8. Otherwise, spend the money on a better stereo. Trust me, you'll enjoy good tunes more than a noisy V6.

You may be able to find a used exhaust system for around $100 but if you're looking for a new, true-dual setup with mid-pipe and cat-back you're going to be spending quite a bit more ($600-$700). If you really want a dual exhaust, I would recommend saving up for a mid-pipe like this...

And pairing it with a GT cat-back. That will give you an awesome sound.

You can't buy exhaust for 100 bucks.

You could use the exhuast you have now and straight pipe it and put a cherry bomb on it. Cherry bombs are cheap i think there 30 dollars
