Looking for what is basically a chocolate chip cookie but part of the process is vinegar added to milk.?

A family member had this recipe, but it is lost now. I think the rest of the ingredients were basic, but it called for adding vinegar to milk and letting it set for awhile. They were called Sour Cream Cookies (but there was no 'sour cream', just soured milk.

I'm sorry I dont have the recipe youre looking for, but when vinegar is added to milk - that is a substitute for buttermilk. It might help you to seek out your recipe knowing that you're going after a buttermilk chocolate chip recipe

    Good luck

(by the way - to make a substitute for buttermilk, pour one tablespoon of white vinegar into a cup measure and fill with regular milk. Let sit for five minutes before using.)
