What does the moon mean to you ?

with the suffering and sacrifices i have made by cause and effect,

fate and intention to love from my complete being only to be forsaken by the darkness of false hope,

in this has created a moon within my centre of existence,

for as one may know,

the moon balances organic life,

therefore i love to stand in the moon light so the moon beams may warm my existence,

energizing my own inner mOOn,

I had a lover once who called me his moon. He said that the way the moon brings light and beauty to the darkest night, I brought light and beauty into his.

Looking back, I was changeable, like the moon, in those days. He was ready for a relationship, but I was not yet grown-up enough in my own heart to love him back the way he deserved to be loved. He married and had a family. I think he had a happy life. I hope he did.

The end of a long day. The moon also cast a nice glow through my window plans. It's like our night light with a smile.

i hold the moon to be sacred.

this may be mainly because i am wiccan, and wiccans treat the moon as a goddess.

but i think it affects every living thing on earth, in way that we can scarcely imagine :)

The moon... signifies beauty... to me...

An object so scarred... and yet so desirable... a gem and a contrast... unlike the tiny stars, so alone... worshipped by the night blooms...
