Do you believe terrorists should have the same constitutional rights as American citizens?
If you think terrorists should have the rights provided from the constitution, do you think they should also have the same rights if they attack or kill Americans outside of America?
===
Well, Hmmmm, the Bill of Rights are just amendments to the Constitution. The Constitution defines what the word "people" mean. The first 7 words of the Constitution says, "We the People of the United States...”.
So I don't think it is saying, "We the people of the United States, and those that wish to harm us from other countries..."

government desires to develop. it somewhat is hassle-free to think of a use for government under the fake guise of performance, even regardless of the shown fact that it somewhat is painfully glaring that government can by no ability prevail, because of the fact it manufactures no longer something yet takes each little thing. It needs to develop, and flow slowly, and devour. The extra it grows and the extra it crawls the extra it needs to devour. those interior the equipment whinge continuously appropriate to the bureaucratic crimson tape. If in basic terms this impediment might desire to be bumped off then finished performance could be available. of direction the crimson tape that they communicate of is there to guard the guy. in basic terms on the cost of liberty do governments grow to prevail. we would desire to continuously all be alarmed at the two words "ability terrorist." They sign that the state has reached a level in enhance, that has plateaued. At this degree any objective place is to be taken as a presumed threat against its further enhance. The leaders will perceive any shape as an impediment and that they're going to paintings without end to erode its substance. it somewhat is perhaps that people who're in this checklist are, certainly a threat to this technique, it somewhat is perhaps that lots of them are authentic patriots.

CONVICTED TERRORISTS..... ABSOLUTELY NO WAY.
They should have the same rights of ANY convicted criminal.
AND face the same punishment.
IF you are talking about the people imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay, then not many of the 800 or so interned were terrorists, nor did they have anything to do with terrorism..
Most were there to make the numbers look good for George Bush's "war on terror".
Many foriegners in Afghanistan or Iraq were considered suspect, and arrested just for not being natives.
Some were arrested because their neighbours had informed on them.
They had done nothing wrong, but these neighbours wanted them out of the way so they could steal their land. In other circumstances, there had been conflict; or jealousy between neighbours, and one family informed on the other to achieve the same result.
The same was especially true between religious groups. Sunni informed on Shi'ite and vice versa.
It is not possible to directly blame Bush in these cases, but absolutely nothing was done to substantiate the allegations.
What if you were arrested and imprisoned in Guantanimo, because someone that does not like you has informed on you. Would you lay down and accept being tortured, and held in chains throughout your internment ? Never given the chance to prove your innocence, and no chance of a fair trial ?
Or would you believe, oh, this is America, innocent people are treated as so, until proven guilty ?
Well, because your last Government chose the first way, now your new Government has to sort out the mess that such a decision created.
If you don't believe what I have just said, HOW COME the MAJORITY of those that were imprisoned, have been now released, or are awaiting release ???

They should be tried as military combatants and tried in a military court..
They are not citizens and do not deserve the rights we have.
This is the same as Pirates on the high seas. Anyone on the high seas should be able to defend themselves against attack against anyone. If attacked by pirates, haul out the 50 calibers and blast away or hand held missiles. These type of folks do not deserve trials.

Excerpt:
This corruption of our legal system, if history is any guide, will not be reserved by the state for suspected terrorists, or even Muslim Americans. In the coming turmoil and economic collapse, it will be used to silence all who are branded as disruptive or subversive.

the bill of rights says "people" not "citizens".does that mean all people or just people who are citizens of the US?
i think it means citizens because it is the US constitution not world constitution.

I don't think terrorists anywhere should have any rights. Send them to Texas where they know what to do with criminals.
