The Bible tells us that God is within us all. What does this mean to you?
As we approach the Age of Aquarius, truth is becoming more apparent each day. Lately, I have been realizing that not only are WE in control of our destiny and WE are the only ones who truly care about ourselves, I am also beginning to realize that the Bible was telling us that WE are the Gods of our own Worlds. Not to sound heretical I believe that this is the true message of the Bible. The Power of God is within us ALL and it is up to US to discover that and unlock those powers of manifestation and CREATION!
The next phase of human evolution will come February 10th, 2011 and it will be the advent of Conscious Co-Creation*. What this simply means is that we must CREATE the World in which we want to live by first starting with our own IMMEDIATE World. When we EACH repair our own worlds and make our "homes" the paradise we seek, we will , in effect, create paradise throughout the entire planet.
I am curious at to whether others feel the same way. Setting aside religion for just a few minutes and analyzing the above thoughts without declaring me a "blasphemer" can you see how the vale is lifting and how the symbolism in the Bible and everywhere in this world is starting to translate itself into reality? Previously mysterious vales were used to keep humanity from obtaining the REAL truth about reality and life but lately it seems that people are awakening and seeing through these vales and realizing that what we were taught is not necessarily what is real.
I must profess that I am not a follower of any man-made religion but I am a devoted fan of God and He lives within me and goes everywhere with me. But lately I am feeling that when I call upon God for help, these prayers are answered so quickly that I am seeing that my "words" are being manifested into reality at a phenomenally quick rate.
So much for my humble thoughts on the subject. I would like to know how many of you feel the same way? A different way and why? Or do you still choose to follow the teachings that were given you when you were a child?
I am fully aware of what the Bible tells us so I don't need a bunch of Biblical verbage spewed mindlessly but would rather hear YOUR deepest thoughts on the subject. If you have NO deepest thoughts on the matter the wisest course would be NOT to answer but I leave this to you all since we are all free to respond as we wish.
Thank you for your input and be aware that I honor all thoughts and beliefs and will not give any thumbs down to any one for any reason.
Namaste.

The date Feb 10 is explained in http://askthedragon.org/ and if you watch the Ian Lungold lecture you will see how that date fits in with all the other dates over the last 16.2 billion years.
I see many people here have not read the Bible but still seem to be able to "speak for God" ... so heretical IMHO. When the disciples asked Jesus how to find God did He not say "Look within!"? Yes, He did.
And yes, I agree that religion is the pathway to war. The few here who decided to "judge" me should read Matt7:1-5 before they judge others.
And yes, the Bible and Jesus are deemed by many to be mythical and history does not support their existences but you gotta admit it's a GREAT story and Jesus is a great mentor for us all. If we all lived without judging others & lived the LOVE that Jesus expounded, we would have paradise.
As far as me being the God of my world I am merely stating that we ALL choose what will enter our worlds and what will form our beliefs. The weakest have religion, IMHO
Bilbo Baggins ... thank you! Your wisdom never dims.
To those who feel somehow that I suggested the earth is ending ... bad people! The New Age of Aquarius is nothing surprising! We are now in the Age of Pisces ... note the teachings of Jesus, as represented by the symbol of a fish, and how the disciples are the Fishers of Men! The Age of Aquarius is the next step when mankind is allowed to wisely choose it's destiny. We are continuing in our evolution & gaining insight & compassion as we become 5th dimensional beings, which basically means that we are becoming empathic. Our minds are becoming one in the sense that we can sense each others thoughts as well as those of all living beings on this planet. In a way it is an end of our "old systems" & the beginning of the New Systems.
To understand what an Age is I suggest you read http://askthedragon.org/ . You'll find that history and time are broken up into 25,000 (appx) year segments. The Lungold lecture shows this in detail ;)
Good job TERRY S ... I commend your perspicacity with only ONE amendment. Time is not accelerating but it is CREATION that is increasing in speed. Once again, the pyramid on AskTheDragon.org is a great example of this. Creation has been accelerating for the last 16.2 billion years and is due to complete itself around October of 2012, according to my math, and Dec 21,2012 according to others. When Creation completes itself, linear time will cease and the past, present, and future will become the NOW. This is borne out by the Mayan Calendar and is why it is so misunderstood. As linear time ceases there is no longer a need for calendars, thus the end of the Mayan Calendar, although they do still have a few comments about some years in 3000 and 4000 A.D.
But I totally concur with the rest of your premises.

Greetings..Yes, I am in complete agreement with you!..
I often descibe God as Divine Universal Consciousness, of which all sentient Beings, us included, are part!..Thus our *aliveness*, consciousness and conscience are all aspects of that which we call God and which are within each of us, so enabling us to create, which we do by how we think, intend and believe!..That*s why positive people tend to succeed and negative people tend not to, as confirmed by the Law of Attraction, sometimes called The Secret!
That*s also why we are told to listen to the *still small voice (of God) within*..
This is the reason why we were advised we are *made in the image of God*, but man in his arrogance has turned that around and instead thinks God must look like us!..This means that we are ALL *Sons and Daughters of God*, as Jesus originally taught before Rome withdrew that truth and changed other teachings so as to take back the power from the people..
Jesus* comment that *all these things and more shall you do also* also makes sense when we understand that deeper concept..
I learned that in 1987, humanity collectively chose at soul level to change time-lines from one leading to nuclear armageddon in the late nineties, to one leading instead to a new golden age in 2012, something we had collectively earned the spiritual right to experience..
I believe that is what Jesus refers to in the Lord*s Prayer when he says *Thy Kingdom will come, Thy Will will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven*, for our new time-line enables us to ascend our consciousness from 3D back to our original level of 5D, a process underway now, and the reason why many people are experiencing TIME going by ever faster, for in 5D we experience TIME differently!..This is also the real reason behind global warming, for as our collective consciousness ascends, so does physicality which, effectively, we are recreating!
5D consciousness could be described as the *entry level to Heaven*, for only Love and positivity can exist there, so we are being urged to let go our negativity and fear in order to participate in this amazing opportunity which is unique in that no Being has ever ascended while retaining a lightened physical form..Our rising consciousness is also enabling more and more mature souls to come to Earth in the very sensitive Indigo, Crystal, Star and Rainbow bodies, many with their spiritual awareness and telepathy fully operating, as we are increasingly seeing from some of the questions we respond to in YA..
Sadly, religion and our secret government or Illuminati, do not wish us to understand what is truly happening (as that would enable us to move beyond their power and control) and do all in their power to keep us uncertain and in fear, for that ensures that we are kept clear of God*s power within us, fear being the opposite of Love..But their power is now waning as we head towards total change in 2012, the reason why the phrase *The End of the World As We Know It* has been appended to that year..

I too believe that God is in us all and with it a power that is often not recognized. I do base this on the religious education I received growing up, although I also see the Bible as inspired writing and not to be taken literally. But there is need for caution here. It is one thing to believe we have God's power within us, and another to come to believe we are God. This latter has been the cause of
many a religious leader (or a Charles Manson) to destroy rather than build.
I don't think anyone can predict an exact time that events will take place no matter how gifted they may be. How often over the years has the end of the world been predicted - and not taken place?
My own conviction that God is within all has come about through the realization that friends of mine, though claiming to be atheists, have demonstrated frequently that they are capable of the type of self sacrifice and kindness that comes from love and where there is love, there is God. There are however people who hate and I have difficulty in finding where God is within such people - but I believe He is still present but hidden in such people.
I also agree that it is up to us to make what changes we believe should be made to improve the world near or far.

well to me (as i've said on so many other posts) religion is nothing more than dogma created by men to gain power over other people (as also is the case for money). but as for your prophesy i'd say i dont think "god" is going to "smite" anyone and since hind sight is 20/20 i can take events and an old book and attribute anything to it provided you put it through in a certain light. So as for US making OUR planet an eden i'd tend to agree, yet look at the state of things from RELIGIOUS and PROFIT on the world.....one word.....WAR. In America its a more favorite passtime than baseball so lest yankland can conquer the world and eradicate the population and put americans everywhere they'll never be happy, same to be said for pretty much every country that thinks they know whats best. I believe we SHOULD do the space exploration thing we NEED to, if there were a smaller amount of people on the planet i think things would calm down. Plus if we could ship all people in level 3 prisons and up to a nice fat penal colony or just snuff them in the first place, it would do the world a great service so they can't procreate.

Well, as a Christian, I believe that this means that the Holy Spirit lives in all of us. Some people say that only in the ones who have been 'reborn'...I think that only the 'reborn' can identify the Holy Spirit in their lives...but God IS in all of us, always trying to get ot us, to touch our hearts and make us go back to Him...some people stop and listen...some other don't. That's free will.
Now, I do think that some people have mistunderstood the whole concept..they say 'if God is everywhere, then he is in me, therefore I am God' and that's a misconception. Now, I don't think we are the gods of our lives...God should be, and that means, we should let Him lead all of our thoughts, actions and decisions...but, boy is that difficult! We tend to try to 'solve' everything ourselves...because sometimes we think God is too busy for it or that 'we know better'(!) And that's human nature...we think we're perfect, which is the proof #1 that we are not!
Anyway...like I told you some time ago, I try every day, to live my life the best way I can...love everyone and reject feelings of hate...well, I don't hate per se, but, you know what I mean...but your questions always keep me thinking...
Thanks for your thoughts and your always respectful attitude!
Have a great week Dartagnon!

It makes sense. But I do not know how far I can go on this subject. Having the world at my destiny is kind of new to me. I do understand that God is within us. But most of us like myself do not have the energy any more to fight. Your point about not being taught the truth some how seems not to be unbelievable.
Do we have time left to change human kind thoughts. I suppose the level you have reached comes with faith. You seem to believe in some thing very strong which you can not see.

First a side note: I am not sure why you chose the date of Feb. 10th. But that is the feast day of St. Scholastica.
I think that at the deepest part of us we are one with God and each other. But because we are distracted by our own self centeredness (ego) we do not know the truth. Also we are made in the image of God, and to some extent this means that we have the ability with our mind to have an effect on the material world, buy ONLY when we unite our will with the will of God.
As co-creators with God in our own individual and collective evolution, it is our job to transform ourselves to be an open vessel for the God in us to live fully in us. When we die to our ego, we can become Christ. Those who have done this before us are the Saints of every religion. We do not, and can not, do this work alone, we are aided by what Christians call the grace of God, the Spirit of God working within us.
Each day we have a choice. Am I going to live for myself, or for God. To live for God is to understand that we are all one in God, and what I do, or fail to do, to anyone I do also to all, including myself.

I am no longer a Christian, but used to be a Born Again Evangelical Christian. I know that some people will claim that's impossible. Unfortunately for them, Born Again Evangelical Christianity is flawed and makes no sense, so people can and often do leave it when they "wake up." People who deny this are just trying to protect themselves from facing those flaws. If a person can follow peace and love, good for them, I wish them joy, but I rarely see it done. If they want to call it Christianity, cool; if they want to call it something else, equally cool. Born Again Christianity is sick inside because of it's insistence on promoting and accepting blood sacrifice. They can put pretty words around it all they want, and they can say that it was the only sacrifice necessary, forever, but the underlying reality is that their belief system is founded on and supported by the belief that Jesus' torturous death and his blood (not his willingness to die, read Hebrews chapters 9 and 10) are what excuses them from the supposed "sins" they have committed. Because they believe in blood and not in love, their entire theological outlook and philosophy are poisoned by it. They are subtly aware of the problem too; in this religion they are taught and truly believe that they can only be excused from their sins by being willing recipients of the effects of a ritualistic blood sacrifice, but for most people with any moral fiber at all, that is disturbing. That's why Born Again Christians project the "human sacrifice" concept onto other groups they target as scapegoats, claiming that people of other religions believe in and practice sacrifice when they do not. At all costs they have to make the evil of killing for religious reasons like atonement seem to be "out there" so they won't have to face the fact that they believe in it themselves. The only hope for Christianity is to reject the "Blood Sacrifice" theology and return to the communitarian ethic of living in peace and practicing charity. Good luck with that; I really hope you succeed.

Where does the Bible say that?
I am not Biblical scholar but that just does not sound like something that comes from a book intended to exercise CONTROL over people.
If that were the case what use would there be for Priests, Rabbis, or Preachers?
SO....the Bible as the source of the sentiment you opened your post with sounds erroneous.

I'm an atheist who believes we create our own destinies, our own realities. I don't know if I believe in the coming of certain ages or not, but I do believe the world is changing.
I believe that we have the capacity to live in harmony with one another, but we need to understand ourselves before we can do that. I think we need to search within our minds and souls and see who we really are. Only then can we make change that matters, and only then can we have peace.

To the title question: That means nothing to me. It's just blind faith, and if I want that, I'll go to the bungie jumping club I saw in Turkey that looked like bungie jumping with dental floss.
To the last question: The only teachings I follow which I was given as a child is not to eat with my mouth full. I don't go to church any more and repeatedly burnt the bibles I were given. They went up well and provided a good fire for marshmallows.
