Which superbowl matchup would be most compelling?
For instance, Vikings vs. Jets. The two underdogs and the fact that the Favre didn't think he could win a superbowl in New York so he orchestrated his move to Minnesota.
Saints vs. Colts. Two best QB's all season long, two high powered offenses.

I think that with the four teams who are left standing, we can't get a bad Super Bowl.
Jets have a great D and running game. Colts have a great passing game, great pass rush and fast defense. Vikings have a great Run defense and a balanced offense featuring the new pass catching sensation Sidney Rice and the brilliant running of Adrian Peterson. New Orleans has an offense that is just clicking this season, they are playing well as a team, their D may be average, but it has a knack for making big plays at critical moments in a game. I feel you just can't go wrong, no matter who gets in.
I personally would love a Jets-Vikings Super Bowl because I have more respect for teams with a great defense and average offense as opposed to teams with a great offense and average defense.

Vikings vs Jets: The legend Favre vs the rookie Sanchez, Favre playing his ex-team in the SB. CB Revis vs WR Rice, #1 D of the Jets vs Favre, AP & company high powered offense. Vikings D-line vs #1 running team the Jets. Both teams, Vikes & Jets are underdogs and must beat the favored Saints & Colts to get to the SB.

Vikings vs. Colts
Favre potentially being the first QB to win a Super Bowl with two different teams vs the Colts who had a shot at history with 19-0: was it worth blowing the two games? Interesting to see which would come true in the same game.

None of them. I think the Jets and the Colts will provide us with some really good football, as will the Saints and the Vikings. But I don't think either team in the NFC has the D to hang in with the Colts or the Jets. ( I will admit that the Vikings D looked out-freaking-standing today. )

Best matchup would be the Colts vs. either the Vikings or the Saints. These are the teams with the 3 best QBs left in the playoffs. (sorry, Mark)

Well before the Jets won I was going to say Chargers - Saints because of the Rivers - Brees storyline there. Now I think that it would be Peyton - Brees. If Brees wins this one it would basically be like Peyton passing on the torch. Looking at the AFC I see a lot of teams that are really good and improving. The Colts are not one of those teams. Teams like the Jets, Ravens, and Chargers have shown that they can play with anyone. They all have very good young players on their teams with which to grow and develop. The Steelers, if healthy, are one of the top teams in the AFC. The Patriots are a running back and Tom Brady's confidence away from making another run. This is pretty much it for the Colts. Addai isn't exactly a top prospect. Freeney and Mathis don't have much left in them. Reggie Wayne is old. Dallas Clark is old. Manning is old. You don't exactly build a team around Collie and Gonzalez. I really think that if Manning doesn't win this year that he won't get many more chances in his career. Brees on the other hand is the only QB in the league with the ability to put up the same type of numbers as Manning. Over the last 4 years he has put up more passing yards than any QB in a 4 year period ever. He is younger. He has a bunch of young tools around him. If Brees beats Manning then not only will he have the same ability to put up numbers as Manning but he will have had a championship, on his first try, at a much younger age than Manning's first. A Manning - Brees SB would be amazing because if Manning wins he jumps ahead of Brady in my books (4 MVPs and Stats and 1 SB don't mean as much as 3 SBs, but 4 MVPs and Stats and 2 SBs especially one this year with basically no team around him puts him in line with Brady). If Brees wins he is taking over for Manning as the premiere QB in the league.

Saints vs Colts. They are the 2 best teams and I'm interested to see who is the best.
Manning vs Favre would be good too.
