Laser boresighter recommendations?
Looking for a boresighter for some 22lr pistols and rifles. The shortest barrel is 3", longest is 20". would like to be able to hit with the rifles accurately up to 100 yards. The boresighter needs to be accurate and I am willing to spend up to $100. Any recommendations or cautions?

Any will work to a certain extent. What you need to know is that bore sighting only gets you close to being on target. It will still take several shots to get it dead on. But one method I use is to get the gun in a good gun vise and aim at a dot on a target. Shoot the dot and see where it hit at. Then position the rifle (if it moved any) and get the cross hairs on the same spot you first aimed at. Maybe the shot hit 10 inches low and 6 inches to the right. Take the cross hairs and adjust them to the center of the hole you just shot. Now your next shot should be dead center. You've just zeroed in your gun with just one shot. But take one more to be certain. I've found this method saves many rounds over any other method on the market. The only requirement is the initial investment for a good gun vise.

Boresighters are good for cking your sights and getting you on the paper...........and some will get you in the 10 ring at 25ft.
At 100yds for expert accuracy or moa you will need to fire your gun to tweak the scope or sights using your favorite ammo that you intend to shoot with.

A bore sighter is necessary to save money on expensive ammo and usually designed for use at 25 yd. You then work your way out to 100 by adjusting your scope. You don't need one for 22, save your money for ammo.
