Why is it unfair to talk about W when cons still whine about Clinton and Carter?

We are still left with W's wars, corporate giveaways, recession and "Patriot" act. So why is it forbidden to talk about the originator of those debacles? Especially when cons have NEVER subscribed to the same expiration limits?

Real conservatives didn't like Bush either.

Ed: stop confusing cons with neo-cons. They are not the same thing

last I saw, the congress authorized the wars we are fighting. One after a massive terrorist attack that killed 3000 innocent civilians. You do recall 9-11 don't you? Far as giveaways are concerned, we had a steadily growing economy and low unemployment during the Bush years. The patriot act was voted on by congress and passed, it was mild compared to what was passed after Pearl harbor. The recession didn't start until after the Democrats took control of congress. So I am totally willing to talk about Bush and what the Democrats did to handicap him during a war. How they used problems both foreign and domestic to push a political agenda.

"W" did a horrific job in cutting spending and creating a deficit. However he did not cause this crisis in the housing sector and if fact tried to prevent it. However both the Repub and Dem Congress blocked him and McCain. Blame Carter and his sitting congress for starting the problem. Blame every president and congress since then that did not fix the problem. Don't blame bankers that were forced to take bad loans and then sold them off as quickly as possible. Blame AIG that bought bad paper (knowingly) and made a huge high risk pool out of it. Blame the people that bought what they could not afford and then cry that they were too stupid to buy a house.

"We are still left with W's wars, corporate giveaways, recession and "Patriot" act. " because Obama has not only continued them, but expanded, widened, broadened and increased financing for them.

But don't worry, Obama is poised to give us something we haven't seen since in a while...rampant inflation coupled to a spiraling devaluation of the USD.

Why do you think he jumped up out of the blue and announced a freeze on spending? His money gurus told him we were headed for a financial calamity if he keeps spending money we don't have and printing money we can't back.

While we feel the need to remind young and naive Liberals of the utter disaster that was Jimmy Carter, we also need to point out that we have seen what happens when Presidents and Congress do the crap they are doing now.

Although they preach that other never take responsibility for their actions, it is quite the opposite, they never take responsibility for their own mishaps. Carter was blamed for Reagan/Bush 5.5 trillion dollar deficits from 1980 to 1992. And Bush supporters blamed Clinton for his eight year disaster until the next day after Obama took office and then of course it was his fault. The great thing about becoming a Republican is that you can no longer be judged, but you can judge others.

News flash, under Bush we had rising employment for 72 straight months, whatever he was doing worked. After Clinton let go Bin Laden he was allowed to plan 9/11 but Bush put so much pressure on them that they could not leave their caves to plan.

    Obama is Expanding:

    1. The War.

    2. Corporation Giveaways.

    3. The Recession.

    4. The Patriot Act.

These are All Bigger Now, thanks to your Messiah.

***** (to the phony.) ---- Regan NEVER blamed Carter for Anything. Reagan was a MAN. The opposite of Democrats and Obama.

They have nothing other than "OBAMA'S HAD A YEAR!" If McCain won, he'd be in the same damn boat, but nobody would make an issue about it. Know why? Because Bush screwed up so bad that we're going to be feeling it for a long time and liberals understand this. C0ns don't criticize their own. For God's sake every other c0n in power is a corrupt politician/businessman.

Anything Obama couldn't and didn't accomplish last year is probably something he won't. His influence is already waning, soon his attention will shift to campaigning for congressmen and then for himself. This is pretty much it.

If you are hoping for some miraculous change to come about in the future... well, enough said.

Before Obama was inaugurated, conservatives claimed the recession was due to policies passed by Bill Clinton. Afterward, they claim the economy is solely Obama's responsibility. I guess conservatives are admitting that their preferred leaders are completely ineffectual, so we don't need to bother voting for them ever again.
