Which Dog Breeds are Real Man Takers and Potentially can Kill a Strong Man ?

Erica is right, there are those who would use the info from this question to further their enthusiasm for dangerous dogs, but you should know most dog fighters already know which dogs are the one best used for dog fight. All of the dogs use for dog fights are potential killers, but there are a few more that are not use for dog fights that are use especially for human protection and guarding of properties. Three come time mind right off, 1) German Shepard's, 2) Dobermans Pincher's, 3) Akita's. Rottweiler though have been use for guarding and policing for many of years in German and now in the US. This dog is considered a dangerous dog and is out law-ed in some communities and in all states all dangerous dog or the owner-ship of one of those dogs can and do cause your home owners insurance company to drop your home owners policy's, most insurance companies will not or refused to insure homes and or properties that have dangerous dogs on them, to many children and seniros citizens have been hurt and killed by one of these dogs on the Dangerous dog List.

So if you are thinking of getting a dog for security reasons you may want to chat with your insurance agents and or your land lord if you are renting....

As said any dog has the potential to kill, but to answer your question, the list below is a list that... if I was a large numbskull crook breaking in to your house, and you had any of these breeds as a trained guard dogs I would most likely change my mind about breaking in. Based on Size, breeding origins, or just strength for size.

This question is just going to tick a lot of people off from a couple of people's uneducated assumptions. Legit: Its not a breed that has the potential do something like that...Its the individual dog and how the owners act. There a lot of breeds that can potentially do this. Any large breed.

Forget the big breeds. Send in a Pekingese and a big man can trip over the dog and crack his head on the floor. Seriously though, this is a dangerous question to ask. YOU may not have any intentions of fighting dogs but there are others here who would be more than happy to and would be quite interested in the answers to this question. Giving them that information is not a good idea. If you must know, try searching "guard" or "protection" breeds and draw your own conclusions.

well I suppose that any dog could potentially kill a man...but here are a few I think are more likely to have the scientific power/strength to do it:

A Pit Bull: Very strong and determined. Oh, and did I mention the lock jaw? Once they bite down there is no way you could shake it loose.

(I own one) A Rottweiler: These dogs are built like tanks! All muscle and brawn. Also they have a huge head which equals a huge mouth with lots of sharp teeth. And to top it all off they are said to have the strongest bite of any domestic dog.

And a wolf mix or hybrid dog: I do not know much about hybrid dogs, but I do know they are very strong and can be fierce if they are in attack mode. I wouldn't want to fight one.

Any breed of dog {but typically a working line GSD or Belgian Malinois} that had been professionally trained by the police, military or as a personal protection dog, would have the the work-driven temperament to attack on the command of their handler & not stop until the dog had got whatever job it had been given by its handler done.

A Fila with the true temperament of the breed, is one of the few breeds that is naturally protective & would not need protection training to reliably protect its handler/human pack.

* Pit Bull

* Any Mastiff

* Any Belgian Shepherd Dog

* Rotweiler

* Dobermann

This question weirds me out a little, but...

If you look at police service dogs, they can definitely take down a large man, and could probably kill him if need-be. most police dogs I've seen are German Sheppards, smart, obedient and loyal.

As for the "there to serve man" part, I don't know about that. My dogs don't serve me. Neither does my husband for that matter....
