Absolutely you need to cut down on eating. Just because you're eating healthy foods, doesn't mean you can't still eat too much of them.
It all boils down to basic math. In order to lose 1lb, you need have a deficit of 3500 calories. Running for 30 minutes burns about 280 calories. Walking for 30 minutes burns about 120 calories. So for an hour of exercise, you're burning 400 calories each time you do it. Over the course of a week, that should be adding up to just under a pound.
If however your daily caloric needs are (for example) 2000 calories and you're overeating by 400 calories, you'll stay even. Even if you're overeating by 200 calories, you've thrown away half of your workout.
The best way to lose weigh is to combine both exercise and diet. Eat 500 calories less than you need each day (calculator below) and exercise too.

Make sure youre cutting back on some foods. Even healthy food can add up in calories if you eat a lot of it. also, maybe doing some crunches/strength exercises will help to tone your stomach.
