Why does Yahoo Answers insist on doing nothing about people who have multiple accounts and abuse theQ&A format?

...by giving themselves best answer and abusing other users with puppet accounts? And especially when, with a little investigation, even someone on the lower end of the stupid scale could figure it out, and worse, when it has been brought to their direct attention?

It has to be reported, repeatedly, from multiple other users. They DO investigate, they DO suspend; it just takes time. It took them over a year to 'prove' the case against the #1 person on the leaderboard (somebody from Brazil, if I remember) before they suspended them. Patience and diligence.

Yahoo user moderation may seem to do nothing but that simply is not true.I am not sure who the user Yahzmin mentions is but bow to her long term knowledge. What I do know however is that although there are many multiple accounts and also a great deal of spam there would be considerably more without users giving up time to tackle the problem. During the recent malware attack many users were on here for hours on end co-ordinating the fight. Don't give up we will win in the end.

No, yet they could desire to offer the guy being stated the reason that they are being stated, and supply them a great gamble to regulate their answer in the event that they desire to realize this beforehand completely deleting it. this could sparkling up a great style of fake impression (if the justifications for the removal of postings are valid). people who're uncertain on the thought would be knowledgeable. Abusive cloth that truly needs to be limited would be taken out in a extra uncomplicated way - a minimum of the guy who wrote that's going to recognize the reality. And in the event that they do no longer trust the reason they are in a position to then communicate approximately it on the communicate board and get the opinion of others. whether that's via presidential order (or from politicians) - why no longer state so. If political ability communities could have an answer or question got rid of why shouldn't they be pointed out as doing so? If Yahoo truly is attempting to be a intense communicate board and not a stooge of the "Powers that be" and training censorship to curry want with the useful, why no longer shop this out in the open.

I find yahoo very strict with the people they catch out. People get violated for no apparent reason, perhaps it's just because there is so much of that stuff going on that they cannot deal with it all.

Simply ignore stuff like this. Obviously kids have no lives. Whenever there is getting money, points or XP. Kids will cheat trust me. People will do anything over the smallest stuff its just ridiculous.
