Hidden benefits by booking with Disney directly?

Are there any hidden benefits to booking travel package @ disney.com vs. booking with AAA-- They appear to be very close in price. I do not want to miss out on a good disney.com treat or get a bad room by using AAA. Thanks .

There are no benefits I know of for booking directly with Disney. Right now on Travelocity.com I have seen an offer if you buy a several day park hopper ticket you can get a few free days. I haven't seen that offer directly at Disney, so don't forget to ask about that when you book.

Not sure why the thumbs down. If you have ever researched prices at Disney vs. Travelocity or other travel sites, they tend to be the same. My point is to check out other sites, you'll be surprised that the prices are nearly identical. And currently Travelocity is offering free days of tickets, why wouldn't you book there?

If you're booking right now, Disney is offering 25-45% discounts on hotel rooms (depending on your length of stay and which resort hotel you're staying at) OR a $300-$750 Disney gift card (if you're staying 5+ days , and the amount of the gift card depends on which class of hotel you're booking at). The gift card option was actually a better deal for our 7 day, 6 night trip in March.

They do also offer the stuff that "You asked ... I answered" said, and if you book with them, you can set up their Magical Express shuttle to take you to your hotel when your flight lands. (But you could probably get that anyway.)
