Input from the "Don't show" tick box is not working right.
You need to have your 'Updates' option the same in 2 different locations.
Click your avatar.
Click PROFILE there to get to your Yahoo Profile.
Use the UPDATES tab to select whether you want to have updates posted or not.
Return to Yahoo Answers.
Click your avatar.
Click 'edit my info'
Make the same selection for UPDATES on that page.
Click PREVIEW at the bottom.
Click OK on the last page.
That should fix it.
