If I don't know you, then please don't add me to your contacts. Living in Pinellas County, Florida, but I miss my native New England. Love to help out new cooks in the Food/Beverage section. Hate to see the baiting in the Religious/Spiritual section. I'm neither religious or spiritual, but WOW are they mean in there! Some answers to common questions: Q: Am I pretty? A: Get a web cam and go to a chat room, someone will tell you that you are (even if you aren't) Q:How do I ask her/him out? A:Open your mouth and ask them, the ground won't swallow you up if they say no. Q:Am I pregnant? A:If you took proper precautions then probably not, if not then most likely you are. Deal with it. Q:My parent is so unfair! A:Be grateful they feed and clothe you. Quit rolling your eyes and flying off the handle and they will treat you fairly more often.

2 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoHow long do you think they take to think up these questions?
R&S seems to have more than their fair share of posers and haters. Do some just sit around all day thinking up questions like these or do you think they are spur of the moment kinds of things?

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy don't people just use a search engine for their answers?
About 30% of all YA questions can be answered by using Google or another search engine. Since it takes longer to type a question than just look themselves, what is the benefit they are trying to accomplish?
7 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoAnswering hateful email from other YA when they have their accounts set to no contact?
I just received a hateful rant from an ill informed questioner (seems she didn't like my answer although it was researched and correct). It included slurs as to my race, social standing and intelligence (most of it misspelled of course). She doesn't allow email contact in her profile. Who else thinks that Yahoo should allow rebuttals to emails sent from these cowards?

8 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoChocolate chip cookie in bar form?
It is late and I can't even think anymore. My kitchen would give you a diabetic coma just walking into it. I have been making cookies and treats all day and the thought of another batch is daunting.
Has anyone had luck with making chocolate chip cookies in a 9x13 pan and cutting them into bars? I am concerned they won't cook in the middle and be overcooked on the edges. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
3 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoPotentially dangerous elderly driver?
A co-worker has told me that her 89 yo father has very poor eyesight, fluctuating blood pressure, intermittent dehydration and possibly the onset of dementia. He has also failed to renew his drivers license as he doesn't think he will pass the eye test. He drives daily during the early morning to meet his friends for coffee during he height of school bus activity. He also drives daily to the grocery store during the height of school buses dropping students off at their homes. I am terrified that he is going to strike a student going to or from school. I have begged her to make him stop driving as he is a danger on the roads. She won't. Should I contact the town's police department and report him? What should I do?

3 AnswersChicago1 decade agoRental payments when the apartment has no power or water due to flooding?
I live in Illinois and was affected by the floods. My apartment is on the second floor and all I lost was my food in the fridge, but I still don't have power or water. It has been 2 weeks and looks to be even longer before it is habitable. What are the laws regarding paying rent for the time I am out of my apartment?
