Someone please explain to me why Chris Matthews still has a job?

Because of his comedic value, you can always count on him to say something dumb. What is better, is unlike say Stephen Colbert, his comedy is completely unintentional.

I mean, last week he talking about kung fu fighting terrorists. Seriously, he should have his own late night show.

The only annoying thing is conservatives who think Chris Matthews somehow represents liberals. I'm liberal and Chris Matthews certainly doesn't represent me.

But I do give Matthews credit that sometimes he actually does say something smart or catch an idiot on his show saying something ignorant, but mostly he is there for the comedy of it all.

If you need like new roads and bridges it would be called the 'rayod and bridge bill'. Now follow this many are confused thinking the first stimulus bill was all cash, but actually of the 671 billion only about 28- billion was cash and of that only 100 billion was for jobs. You may remember and appreciate that barrack gave everyone the $13 back on some employment tax per month. But any way he and Pelsoi said the original one would create 400,000 jobs. Sadly nothing ever got done except unions got money, so they can donate and we little people got the shaft. Now follow me this new thing he has is 477 Billion in cash from what I understand and guess what it is suppose to create 400,000 jobs. Notice I didn't say save or create "2 to 3 million jobs". I you remember Nancy Pelosi told everyone to sign the bill without reading it like the insurance health care benefit bill and if they didn't half a billion Americans would lose their jobs. Well some people have gotten smarter. Shouldn't this new bs bill , that is almost five times the cash create more than the original 400,000 jobs? Besides he is crying about bridges that might fall in and if you check these are the same bridges Nancy was crying about almost three years ago. i mean if you are going to shaft the people at least fix the four main bridges you were crying about in the first place. So not sure why they don't want it unless they know most will go offshore It's a battle as they the house and senate are taking $3.5 billion a year from the lobbyists and barracks is taking a billion.

Chris Matthews, is he still around? I stopped watching him years ago. I was hopeful that he would just fade away. I guess he didn't, oh well, maybe soon. Why he still has a job you ask, I guess he has friends, or at least one friend, in high places. This is usually the case when you have no talent.

I really don't understand what the problem is. He seen Obama as The President of the United States. Not a black man, not a white man, not a red man & not a yellow man, Just the President. This is much ado about nothing.

The libs will call it a "teachable moment" and Chris matthews will continue to get Obama tingles on TV.

Chris Matthews is going blind and has that tingle going up his leg - sounds like he need to go to the hospital.

As to why he is dead last in ratings and still has a job who knows.

For the exact same reason that Harry Reid still has a job.

For every Glenn Beck there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Because the current administration owes msmbc

Because he draws in an audience.
