yes, I have chosen an answer that I didn't agree with. It was well thought out and while I didn't see it that way, it was an interesting answer.

Yeah, I have. If the responder has a good point and it is apparent that they have done research or shown some effort. The responder may still be wrong and I point that out, but I will award best answer just the same.

No, no I don't. I don't choose answers opposite of my view.

Why would anyone not be 'honest' about this? Everyone tells me I'm not impartial. It's who I am.

And that's fine. I'm not some college kid parroting his answers, unable to hear anyone else. I'm over 40, and have spent almost 25 years listening and debating to the issues. My opinions are well supported by empirical evidence.

Occasionally. yes, I would have picked more but unfortunately a good answer would be ruined by an insulting remark in the end. It is almost like you cannot be a liberal poster on here with out including an insult.

I did a couple of times in the Dog section. But both had valid explanations that I had never considered and it made sense.

  • Yes I have I try give the most thoughtout answer best answer. But if it's reactionary i don't.

If they have a good answer, or if I want to debate them on a point, sure.

I don't make it a popularity contest, I just want a good discussion.

A few times I have.....if the answerer gives a very valid argument that makes me think, I'll choose them.

    Doesn't happen often though.
