Men at Work accused of stealing riff to 'Down Under'?

Can't see it myself. And it's 30 years old for goodness sake - if they were going to file they really should have done it before now.

What do you think? Can you hear a likeness?

definite, in an appropriate both activities in those situations should be nameless. the issue is that if a guy isn't convicted of rape there is the implication that the girl who accused him isn't telling the reality - it would properly be there is no longer sufficient info because it comes all the way down to at least one persons observe hostile to anothers. The police in many situations call men accused of being rapists because it brings ahead previous victims who've been too scared to do some thing about it interior the previous and now see that their testimony might want to get a very risky guy locked up. regrettably there are those evil women those who cry rape - those women human beings smash a guy's life over what's frequently a spurned improve. they favor ideal help in the journey that they imagine it really is a thanks to get revenge. i wish they not in any respect journey , or see a loved one coping with the trauma of rape or sexual abuse.

This topic, strangely enough, was on TalkSport's Breakfast Show, where they played both Tracks several times. I cannot see how an appeal cannot be successful, as there is little or no similarity.

On a seperate note, how come Humble Pie's "Natural Born Boogie" did not get sued as a rip off of "Get Back"?

    Well, it's a standard up-tempo Reggae riff...

As far as stealing it ?? I guess it has to be proved in court.

My opinion means nothing when it comes to greedy Trial Lawyers.

    Deighton.

I take offense to that ......... they had other hits.

"Overkill" .......... which apparently was good enough that a recent series of Scrubs had the lead singer wandering about singing that song.

"Who can it be now" - Great song ........... great sax!! ."Ive done no wrong, I keep to myself .... theres nothing wrong with my state of mental health." - Classic!

Source(s): Edit - on a more serious note, the 'Kookaburra' song was sung by practically every Australian kid for the past 40 or 50 years in school ........... so somehow despite the millions singing it, no-one noticed the similarity. Says it all really. The very first bit of the riff sounds a bit like it ....... but geez, only at a stretch ........
