So it's okay for Rush to use the word "retard", but not Emmanuel?

She defends Rush and criticizes Emmanuel.  Interesting.  I fail to see the difference that she weirdly tries to describe here.

I guess if you agree that people are retards as well, it's okay to say it.

The problem is that people are cry babies and words hurt them. You can call me any thing you like, but you better be prepared for a retaliation of words (because I know words hurt people). 

What is funny is I can call people anything I like in a language they don't know and they don't get upset, but I know what I called them.

Mindy is right: it means slow like in you want to retard a fire. These people are slow to understand and have basic knowlege of how life is suppose to work!

If you get to the real meaning of the word, you will find that it is true, they are retards. (think about it).

Retard is an insult.  No classification of persons are 'retards'.

However I don't see the differentiation in her explanation either.  I just don't really care.  I think this 'PC apologizing and denouncing' is pure pandering, whomever does it.
