Your opinion, quickly? Word association?
I'm working on the names for the two organizations in my book, and I want your opinion.
The groups both go by acronyms. One is ULF and the other is HOBS.
One is good and one is evil. Not knowing what the letters stand for, which do you think would be which?
Thanks, everyone.

I think that ULF sounds evil, and HOBS sounds good. Especially if the ULF says it's name as the letters and HOBS is pronounced as "hobbs."

First off: I love both of these acronyms, they sound really good.
Just based off the names, I would think that ULF is the evil one and HOBS is good. Do you already know what they stand for?
(Thanks for helping me with my question, by the way.)
Good luck with your story! =)

I believe Hobs is an old nickname for the devil, so it could be the evil one (however it also brings to mind "Hobbit"). ULF stands for "Ultra low frequency".

ULF sounds like the evil one to me.
HOBS sounds like the good one to me. It also reminds me of hobo.

To me, ULF sounds good and HOBS sounds evil.
But I'm not really sure. It would be fine either way.
