Have you ever read a book with more violent content than the Bible?
Please make sure you have read the entire Bible (not just familiar with portions/verses) before answering.
If so, please name the book.

I like how they merge the doctrine of christ with the doctrine of adonai. And since most people in this board cant separated the two ask question like this instead of asking. What was the purpose of merging them and who did it? Why do foundations give money to science and church at the same time? Are they starting conflicts for a purpose. And who will benefit after all this?
The time has not yet arrived when average man has become wise enough or strong enough to rule himself. Never will? peace reign upon the earth until we are ruled by the fit.

I also have not read a book that was more truthful than The Word of God. That's just the way it is.The Bible is the ONLY prophetic book with a 100% track record, and true, pure science VALIDATES The Bible at every encounter, which, is of no surprise, since it was written there before man had a clue. Where do ya think all these "brilliant" minds got the ideas to puzzle out? That is why we, today, have our "human" owners manual. It shows us that man is just plain wicked, and even when we know that things are wrong, we just keep being "stupid". So much for evolution.

I quite have examine and studied the Bible in English and the NT in Greek and English and have examine the Quran and assorted Buddhist and Hindu writings as nicely as those of the classic philosophers and Taoists and others. i think of that the easy ideals are a demonstration that there is a few thing even some one divine and that examining the scriptures of alternative faiths can advance your very own!

I've read a lot of books about wars. People can be violent. Grow up.
For example: Love & War, John Jakes. About the US Civil War.
I've read books about the Hugenot massacres. The French Revolution. The early Roman empire. Hitler. Chairman Mao. Do you think these were less violent than the worst violence in the Bible?

I had always heard so many good things about the bible. When I read it, I was shocked. I already couldn't believe in a God that would create a hell, but once I read his book, I had zero respect for this deity or anyone that could worship such a creature. Christianity is lucky most of it's believers have not read the book. It's clearly the work of primitive men.

Yes, I have read it all.
So it has violence? It only tells the truth of humanity.
I guess people rather hear this than the truth..this below:
And in the sky was pink fluffy clouds and rainbows sparkled in the bright blue sky. On earth were bridges made out of licorice with pudding flowing under and strawberry ice cream cone trees. Happy purple bunnies gaiely hopped through Peppermint stick Forest while staying on Gumdrop Lane all the way to the Ginger Bread House where Mrs. Lemon Drop and Mr. Lollipop lived with their white kitten Sugar Cookie and their poodle Snickerdoodle. All the people danced and sing underneath the gay honey drop sun.

I read a book about the French revolution that was very violent. I'm not sure if it topped the Bible though.

Well the Bible has both sides of love, peace, and war.
