Do you think that the Senate will use Reconciliation to pass the Ammendments to the Senate Health Care Bill?

I think if there is no success getting Republicans onboard on 25 February, then the Senate must use Reconciliation. They cannot spend a year on Health Care with nothing to show for it. That is a waste Government money to spend that long on a bill with nothing. They will get hammered for not finishing Health Care in the 2010 Elections just like the 1994 Elections when they failed to pass Health Care.

The Deficit cannot handle inaction by Congress.

Reconciliation will be viewed as yet another bit of trickery, along with Reid's back room deals. You think the Dems are paying for it now? Just wait.

Who could possibly want the monstrosity that is the Senate Health Care bill? Good economists (Martin Feldstein of Harvard) will tell you that it will cost more, and fewer people will be covered. Imagine that.

The deficit can not handle them spending more money.... if they spend another year trying to pass the health care bill they are not finding new ways to spend more of our money... they are not finding new ways to take more money out of our pockets..... I think they should spend the next year unsuccessfully trying to pass the bill..... it might actually help the deficit....

Lets face it they are still making the same money if they pass it or not so that's not going to change.

According to Pelosi - they will use whatever means possible to get their garbage bull-crap of a health care reform package done - pole vault over the fence, parachute in - they'll pull every trick in the book including the use of Czars and regulatory committees to implement their agenda - AGAINST THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE! This group of radicals is acting more like a dictatorship every day.

If they do, it will be another nail in the coffin for the Dems.

The opposition comes from the American PEOPLE.

Use reconciliation and lose a ton more seats in Congress.

    Go ahead!

I think the far left faction of the Democrats will just keep it up and keep it up and keep it up. They will not rest until they get some legislation which is harmful to our Republic. They just can't rest until they do, and we are paying them wages while they do it. They don't give a damn that the vast majority of American Citizens don't want their bullshi*.

Not if they want to get re-elected.

Maybe that is why so many have decided not to run again.

At least Clinton had enough sense to back off.

Obama seems impervious to anything the American people want.

  • Being that they didn't drop it they now have to get it done -- ineffectiveness in the end looks the worst -- republicans have dems blocked in -- neither way is great

I agree it will end the Democratic party. Go ahead and end your party.

I want to see something done by both parties that the people agree on.
