Tattoo peeps. Have you ever watched the show "LA Ink"?

Even though you didn't ask, I'm going to tell you anyway that I find it interesting. I was curious how others thought of it.

Thanks for your time, and I hope for only the best for you and your lovers.

I did... But I find the same problems in it as Miami Ink.

    Theres far too much drama.

Every tattoo seems to have some horrific long-winded 'meaning' to it. Like you can't just get a tattoo cause you want to. It has to be because your horses grandma died or something..

And I just don't feel like it portrays tattoo shops very realistically, y'know?

And Kat Von D annoys me.

Shes pretty, but I wish she'd shut up :)

    I do like tattoos though.

I've watched it, purely for entertainment purposes. It's staged, and doesn't portray tattooing very well. It's supposed to be a reality show, but really, there's nothing realistic about it. Kat, yeah, like others have said, she's hot, but that's really the only reason she has a show. Honestly, her tattoos aren't superior quality. There are much better artists in the world, a lot in her area to be precise, that don't charge such high prices so they can support their glamorized lifestyle. It's a good show for entertainment, but other than that, ehhh.

I was disgusted by the rock star attitude most of the people displayed and consider it another factor in all these stupid 18 (and younger) getting tattoos they will regret because some stupid chick on TV made it look cool. Not to mention, I would never be tattooed there, I've seen her smoking while tattooing, barefoot while tattooing, seen her cat walking on her station.....seriously, someone call the ******* health department.

Yes, the work is good but way over priced, you're paying for the privilege of their attitude.

I've seen it. I am amazed at how much drama there is though amongst the workers... really I was amazed that there were so many workers. so, have you seen an episode where they messed up a tattoo on someone? I would like to see that episode, just to see the interaction and reaction of everyone.

I love LA ink.. tattos are like art as long as you get one that is not a coloring book job...

hmm I don't personally want everlasting art work on ym body.. but I'd gladly get a photo of um lol

    Once.

The (will remain un-named) artist's comments were kinda shocking.

Every artist I've met had some kind of concern for the customer.

Making it hurt on purpose was stupid.

Stupid people will not ink me.

i like it. all the artists in that shop are really talented. the last season was pretty bullshit, there was too much drama, not enough tattoos. im hoping the upcoming season is better

plus kat is SOOOO adorable and sweet. i stood in line for 2 hours to get my copy of her book signed, and by the time i got to her she was so worn out but she was still trying to be perky and awesome, and she apoligized sooooo hard for making us wait as long as we had to.

then it turned out we had parked way out where her car was supposed to pick her up anyways so we ended up getting to chat with her a little. it was neat
