If you are doing primarily video editing, then go with Crucial. You need the memory for intensive projects. If you are just gaming, go with OCZ. The performance difference is nearly null; DDR3 runs faster, but not enough to make a difference unless you do the video editing. I suppose here, more is better....8 GB DDR2 for $150 is a good deal....

4 Gb of DDR3 is obviously better than any 8 GB DDR2 cuz DDR2 operates in a maximum clock speed of upto 1066 or 1200(O.C)MHz and DDR3 operates in a maximum clock speed of upto 2000 MHz so the read and write speed to the RAM by the Processor will be faster twice as fast as DDR2 !!! Get a DDR3 ram instead of DDR2 but u may find it costlier cuz its newer technology than the DDR2, So if u got low budget and wanna compromise on some speed then get DDR2 Or spend more and get more speed with DDR3. --- GOOD LUCK ---

for gaming the ddr3 is better because no game uses more than 3 or 4gb anyway, also if your using a 32bit OS ti will only recognize up to 4gb anyway so i would go for the ddr3

that chipset only takes ddr3 memory and remember 32bit OS will only recognise up to 4gbs of RAM
