Here is a sample diet plan (be sure that it works):
Breakfast: a piece of cheese, slices of tomatoes, 4 5 olives and green tea
Snack with nuts
Lunch: Salad
Snack with yogurt or fruits
Dinner: Grilled chicken/fish and boiled vegetables or salad

hmmm... well, try not to eat fried foods, and the less ingredients the better. drink lots of water, and as much fruits and veggies as u would like. but dont over do it on the snacks and heavy calorie things. protein and fiber rich foods are very filing, and keep you fuller on the long term. stay away from fatty things, but eat good healthy fats, like yogurt, avocados, things like that. if you look up on the internet they will provide you with many different things to choose from. i wouldnt recommend going on a "diet", because they are just long term fixes. instead, change your lifestyle, and really look on food labels to try to decode what they are saying. just because something is multigrain, it is just saying that it is a bunch of grains that were all stripped from their nutrients. I would recommend purchasing the "eat this, not that" books. They help you to know what you are really buying, and suggest that you eat one thing over a not so healthy one.
As for exercising, running helps a whole lot. start out little, and run a little more every day. also, play some of your favorite songs and do 200 jump ropes. or, crunches will help out to firm up your stomach. push ups will tone your arms dont slack, get into a routine. you may not see immediate results, but trust me it will work.
As for how much you want to lose, that is a good goal. im not sure if it is attainable by summer though. i would start out trying to lose ten pounds, and then ten more pounds. that way it wont seem discouraging. This will also help out a lot for your moods, and way of thinking. Because eating right and exercising is great for your body. i found that i am much more optimistic person, and i feel great all around. And by the way, i am only fifteen too, so if i can achieve this stuff, so can you. :] hope this helps!!

Hi. I was doing some research, and the best ways to lose weight are:
Change to healthy eating, and cut down snacks every hour
Have a really good breakfast, mainly composed of starch, because starch gives you energy through the day, which means you will have to eat less to keep active
If you feel hungry or just want to eat something, cut down junk food and get yourself fruits
Try to reduce the amount of sugar and fats you take, but don't cut them out totally because you need them for warmth and energy storage.
Be more sport-active
And, before you know, you know, you will have lost a considerable amount of weight.
PS: Sorry for bad english
PSS: I just want to let you know that I'm 13, but i have recently done a school project about Healthy Eating, and i got a really good mark. In fact, i took my own advice, and ive lost quite a lot of weight. I used to weight 90kg (I'm not good working with pounds), and after about 1 year ive gone down to 83kg. Okay, it's not that much, but it will help until you find something to make you lose weight faster, and it also improves your health.

the best way to lose weight in the stomach area and everywhere is to walk or run,you also could lay on your back have you legs straight then bend them slowly rise them to be point at 11 like on a clock and slowly put them down but don't let them touch the ground bend them and do it again it will work out your stomach area and give you abs do at least 15 at once and work up to doing more.you can also sit straight up on a chair put you hand beside your legs and bend you knees up to your chest hold it for a little and do more.
hope this helps.

Eat right. You need to eat more vegetables, fruit, nuts and beans. Eat less of stuff with thick sauces, cut down on your portions of food. Stay away from sugar and try to exercise at least once a day.
